iPhone 6 launch The first device in the line up is the flagship smartphone iPhone 6, which is expected to be released in two versions, with one having a 4.7-inch display and the other boasting a 5.5- or 5.7-inch screen. The smartphone is also likely to be equipped with Apple’s next OS version, iOS 8, and it would be more scratch resistant as compared to the screens of the current iPhones. It would also sport several other features, including 64-bit mobile processor, a clock speed of 2.6GHz and improved RAM. Additionally, it would have an advanced version of the camera along with optical image stabilization. It was also reported earlier that Apple is planning to make iPhone 6 a mobile wallet. This will enable its users to make secure payments via mobile by just pressing a finger. Apple iWatch Launch Apple is also scheduled to launch iWatch that would be available in two versions having different sized OLED screens. One version would be having a large 2.5 inch screen, while another version would boast a more pedestrian 1.5 inch screen. It is also reported that the company is also planning to introduce its near field communication technology in the device that will enable users to pair their wrist worn devices with smartphones and tablets easily. The company believes in perfection when it comes to design, and it is being said that nearly 100 people worked on the upcoming iWatch. The company hired several experts in the recent times as it does not want to comprise on designing and other features. Some of its recruits were Paul Deneve, former CEO of French luxury label Yves Saint Laurent; Nancy Dougherty, formerly at Sano Intelligence; Ravi Narasimhan, formerly worked at biosensor technology firm Vital Connect; Michael O’Reilly, M.D., the former Chief Medical Officer and EVP of Medical Affairs at Masimo Corporation; and Patrick Pruniaux, former sales director of TAG Heuer.
