Can You Delete My Eyes Only?
The ‘My Eyes Only’ feature can’t be turned off or delete, not in the traditional sense of the word. Once it’s been activated, it can’t be removed, deleted, hidden, but it can be ignored. What you do is remove the pictures from the ‘My Eyes Only’ tab, thereby, making it just an empty tab. You can make the passphrase easier to remember by changing it, too. To get rid of my eyes only, you have to remove everything from the folder. If you have content in there, it’ll remain in there until it’s deleted by you. There’s no way to just delete my eyes only folder on Snapchat, you can only delete the memories in there.
How to Turn Off My Eyes Only’ on Snapchat
Since the My Eyes Only feature can’t be turned off, to completely empty the folder, you either have to delete everything in there individually, or you need to use the forget passcode option to completely clear the folder, but the downside to this is that all of your snaps in there will be wiped.
Deleting All Of The Snaps In My Eyes Only
Open your Memories tab. It’s the icon of two pictures located at the bottom, below the Shutter button. Tap it or swipe upwards to open your Memories.
At the top, select the ‘My Eyes Only’ tab.
Punch in the correct passcode or passphrase you created.
With your finger, tap and hold it to a picture you’d like to remove from ‘My Eyes Only’. After a few moments, that picture will have been selected (you’ll see a checkmark) and, in doing so, you are given the option to select more with a simple tap.
Once you’re done choosing pictures to move back, select Move at the very bottom of the screen. Doing so will immediately remove the chosen pictures from ‘My Eyes Only,’ back to your ‘Snaps’ tab. If you select all of the memories in the My eyes only folder and delete them, then my eyes only will no longer have any content in there. That doesn’t mean to say that My eyes only folder has been removed, it just means that there are no more memories in there.
Use The Forgot Passcode Option
If you want to completely clear My Eyes Only, then you can use the forgot passcode option which is going to empty the folder completely and get rid of everything in there. With this option, you’ll have to enter your Snapchat password, then choose a new password for My Eyes Only, then from there, all of your snpas in the My Eyes Only section will be deleted because you forgot the password. Important: if you forgot your current passcode and choose to reset it, you will lose everything currently saved to My Eyes Only! To reset your passcode:
Empty My Eyes Only?
If you want to empty My Eyes Only, then you need to delete each Snap individually from the My Eyes Only section. You can’t empty the My Eyes Only section all at once, so you’ll need to hold down on one snap and select all of the others individually. From here, you can select unhide snap or delete.
How to Remove Password From My Eyes Only on Snapchat
If you want to remove your password from My Eyes Only so that you can access it without having to put in some sort of code, then this won’t be possible. You can remove a password from My Eyes Only as the only point of My Eyes Only is to be password protected so even if someone was to log into your Snapchat or use your phone, then they won’t be able to see the My Eyes Only folder without entering a password. If you don’t want to put in a password or passcode to access My Eyes Only, then the best thing to do would be to unhide the snap from the My Eyes Only folder and leave it in your memories. This means that you’ll still be able to view them from your memories without having to put in a passcode. If you’ve deleted the snap from your memories and you now want to remove it from your My Eyes Only and leave it in your memories, this won’t be possible as you’ve deleted them from your memories. Instead, you can export the snaps from your My Eyes Only, and upload them to your memories from the camera roll section in memories. This will upload videos and photos from your camera roll into your memories. From here, you can delete them from your My Eyes Only now that they’re in your memories and you won’t have to enter a passcode just to view them.
Turning On ‘My Eyes Only’
Before you can attempt to remove anything from my eyes only, the feature needs to be turned on and you need to have memories saved to that folder. When you go to save your first memories, you’ll be prompted to enter a passcode that’ll allow make the folder secret. Once you have content in the My eyes only folder, then you’ll be able to delete things from there. For the uninitiated, Snapchat’s ‘My Eyes Only’ feature lets you select a few pictures, as many as you like, and send them to a separate tab. However–and this is why the ‘My Eyes Only’ part comes from–you’re given the opportunity to add a numbered passcode or a passphrase and lock the pictures behind it. So, if someone decides to open the ‘My Eyes Only’ tab, they’ll need to input a passcode or passphrase before they can view anything.
Locate and launch the Snapchat app.
Log into Snapchat, if you aren’t already logged in, with a valid Snapchat account and the correct passphrase.

Once you’re done choosing pictures to move, select Move at the very bottom of the screen.
When asked to move the pictures to ‘My Eyes Only,’ select Move once more.
Now you’re presented with the opportunity to make a numbered passcode. Punch it in. When asked to confirm, do it a second time. Afterwards, your pictures will be moved to ‘My Eyes Only’.
Make sure you write your passcode down. If you forget it, there isn’t a way to retrieve it. If you prefer a passphrase, choose Use Passphrase at the bottom of the input section.
