If you want to check your story after 24 hours, you will have to go to archive option in your account settings. When you will choose ‘story archive’ option, you will be able to see all the stories you have posted. But remember one thing, if you delete a story before 24 hours, you will not be able to see your story in archive section. How to share someone else’s story on Instagram?
As mentioned earlier, there is no way of sharing someone else’s story if you are not mentioned in the story. However, you have an option to download the story and then post it on your Instagram story. I know you must be thinking that Instagram doesn’t let you download stories. But you can use third-party apps or various links and websites to do so. You just have to open your browser and type download Instagram story. You will then be asked to write down the URL of the id. And the story will be downloaded. Always remember to first let the person know whose story you are downloading. NOTE: This works only for public account If you wish to download story from an account that is private, you will have to ask the person to send it to you personally. This is know you share someone else’s story on your Instagram. Another thing you can do is, take a screenshot of the picture you want to share and upload it in your story. First, open Instagram app on your deviceThen click on the messenger icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the page
This will open your inboxHere you will see a text message “mentioned you in story”
As soon as you open this chat, you will see an option “add this to your story”Click on it and tap on sendYour story will be shared
You can also send someone else’s story to another user. Follow the steps below to do so:
Open your InstagramClick on the story you want to send
You will see an arrow in the lower right-hand corner click on it and choose the recipient
NOTE: You can only send the story to another person if he is also following the same person. However, if the account is public, it can be sent to anyone.
