The website also noted that some testers might not see the revamped contact page for now. This is because WhatsApp rolls out its new features slowly and gradually.
User Interface for business accounts
In the previous WhatsApp update, a similar user interface was released for business accounts. The update came with larger buttons for both calls and new search message shortcut. Interestingly, there is only one major difference between the business information section and a personal contact information section. The difference is in the visibility of status updates. Users can see the status updates shared by business accounts in the information section. However, contact information of personal users is not so easily available.
Expected WhatsApp updates for iOS users
WhatsApp is reportedly working on several new updates. Firstly, they are working on a better group voice calls interface. With this version, users will enjoy a new feature that will show voice waveforms when users record their voice note. The feature that allows users to pause and resume voice recordings should be available to Android users soon, suggested the report. This is likely to happen once beta testing is complete. The WABetaInfo report reaffirms that the WhatsApp messenger app will add voice waveforms during a group call for all the participants. Along with this, the company is also working on a community feature. The feature was previewed by WABetainfo in November 2021. Although these changes are small, they will give a fresh look to the page. For now, the update is being rolled out for iOS users. However, it will soon be available for the other users as well.
