The Xiaomi Ebook reader is packed with quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM, and 32 GB RAM, while its predecessor had 1 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Its competitor Kindle Oasis is also available in 32 GB variant. The Xiaomi Mi EBook Reader Pro offers 24-stage lighting (Kindle Oasis: 25) and the 3,200-mAh battery can apparently deliver up to 70 days of life on standby. The Xiaomi E-Reader operates via Android 8.1 and has a front-lit display with a combination of white and amber LED lights. The Xiaomi Ebook Reader Pro is available in only Black color. The price of new Mi Ebook reader is CNY1,099 (Rs. 12,400), and is currently available for sale only in China. As of now, the company has not shared details on international availability but we hope that this pocket-friendly Xiaomi Ebook reader Pro is soon launched overseas.
